Help us bring our Sunday Night Mass to life at Assumption Parish. This shared parish family Mass welcomes everyone, with a special invitation to teens and young adults, and takes place at 5:00 pm each Sunday. We’re looking for volunteers for liturgical ministries, including lectors, Eucharistic ministers, ushers, greeters, and sacristans. Lake City Partners Ending Homelessness sent out notice of a special appeal to maintain the heating, roof, and plumbing systems of their 1953 building, which several of our parishioners helped to renovate before it was turned into a shelter 5 years ago. Continue reading...

Our NE Seattle Catholic community will continue to provide a monthly Sunday supper delivered between 5:00-6:00 PM to Tent City 4 at its current Lake City location, 12531 28th Ave. NE, Seattle 98125. This is just north of the Lake City Library. Thanks to the advocacy of many in and out of government, Share/Wheel has received permission for TC4 to stay there through mid-May 2026. We are looking for volunteers for the day of the event. We need help with a variety of things, including setup, take-down, and replacing batteries in lights on the day of, etc. Some quick information regarding this year's Pathway of Lights (PoL ): it is on Saturday, December 13th, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.

The Lake City Partners’ Winter Shelter, located in the Maple Leaf neighborhood, ensures that our community members experiencing homelessness have warm meals and nutritious breakfasts every day. On Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the 11:00 am Mass, Our Lady of the Lake will continue our quarterly Family Liturgies. This is a unique opportunity for families of all kinds to participate in our family-centered liturgy. The parable of the mustard seed will be reflected upon through the eyes of a child in the story, "A Lot With A Little" by Jennifer Paul. All are invited to be with us!

Looking for a fun and meaningful summer project with your kids? Help support our neighbors in need by making sandwiches or hard-boiled eggs for St. Francis House! Here’s how to help: Please wash hands before preparing food. Use inexpensive bread and fillings like lunch meat, cheese, tuna, peanut butter & jelly. No need to add mayo or mustard. Wrap each sandwich in a baggie, then place back in the original bread bag. We’re also grateful for donations of hard-boiled eggs, Cutie oranges, bananas, small apples, and cheese sticks. Every weekday, St. Francis House serves over 150 people, and your generosity makes a real impact! NEW Drop-off Times: St. Bridget: Mondays, 1–2 PM Our Lady of the Lake (OLL): Thursdays, 9 AM Donors from Assumption and St. Catherine parishes, please bring your donations to either St. Bridget or OLL.
