A big thank you to Fr. Mike Angelovic, senior priest in the archdiocese, for donating his chalice to OLL, where he grew up. Father attended OLL school for several years before attending our seminary in Kenmore. Fr. Mike was ordained in 1967 and served in many parishes in Western Washington, including our own Assumption Parish. Let’s remember Fr. Angelovich in our prayers.
On Saturday, August 2, ten enthusiastic hikers gathered for our very first group outing at the beautiful Discovery Park. It was a wonderful morning of connection, fresh air, and breathtaking views. As we walked the trails together, new friendships began to form and conversations flowed easily. We concluded our hike with a heartfelt prayer of thanksgiving, grateful for the gift of community and God’s creation. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure—stay tuned! If you would like to join the Hiking Group - Please contact Fr. Bob Camuso, [email protected]
