Lenten Little Black Books are available for pick-up after Mass. These books offer daily reflections on the Passion according to John, serving as a meaningful companion for your Lenten journey. Be sure to take one and deepen your prayer life this season!

As part of the Archdiocese of Seattle’s 175th anniversary, the Season of Service launches this Saturday, March 1, and continues through the end of May. Show this fun video to motivate all ages to serve as the living Body of Christ and collectively volunteer 175,000 hours. Catholic Speed Dating Back by popular demand! Please join us for the third regional speed dating event for Catholic young adults (ages 21-35) on Saturday, March 22, at 7 p.m. at Holy Rosary, Edmonds. Please note: this is a Catholic event, not a season of The Bachelor. Tickets are $25 and include food and drinks. Attire is business casual. Seattle Catholic Dance Crew is hosting a Country Dance Workshop featuring lessons in country swing and line dancing on Saturday, March 8th, at St. Alphonsus Parish Hall in Seattle at 7 p.m. Young adults (21–35) are welcome to attend.

Guys and Dolls JR. is a lively adaptation of the beloved musical comedy known for its Tony Award-winning success on Broadway. Set in 1950s New York City, the story follows gambler Nathan Detroit as he scrambles to organize a major craps game while dealing with his long-term fiancée Adelaide's frustrations. Nathan turns to high roller Sky Masterson for the funds, but Sky ends up falling for Sarah Brown, a straight-laced missionary. Romance, humor, and unforgettable songs take the audience from Times Square to Havana with a heartwarming conclusion for all. Tickets on sale now. The show is March 6 - 9 and is being played at the OLL School Event Center and Theatre.

The combined St Vincent de Paul Conferences of Assumption St. Bridget, Our Lady of the Lake, and St. Catherine of Siena gathered together for a Mass and reception at St. Bridget on February 19th. This was a celebration of the Friendship and Spirituality side of our ministry. In addition to the great snacks and desserts, there was a rousing game of Northeast Seattle Catholic Community Patron Saint Trivia - won by Beth Schweiger of OLL. Thanks to all who attended.

In mid-January, about 50 people gathered to watch the film, "Cabrini," to hear an update about the Rivera family and to contribute toward the fund for the family's living and legal expenses. Well over $1,000 of much-needed and very much-appreciated money was contributed. Watching St. Frances Cabrini's advocacy for destitute immigrants in the early 1900s was inspiring and motivating in the face of church and civil opposition. Continue reading...

Introducing the “Cenacle” Lenten series. The word “Cenacle” refers to the “Upper Room” where Jesus gave his disciples the Eucharist, washed their feet, and taught them of the Father’s love and the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is also the place where Jesus regathered the disciples following his resurrection to “breathe” on them the Holy Spirit and send them out as missionaries. Robert and Lori Fontana (Assumption Parish) are associates in the modern-day Missionary Cenacle movement. During Lent, they will be hosting a weekly small group Scripture study and faith-sharing series called Holy Week with Jesus and His Disciples in the Cenacle. It will be held at Assumption Parish Hall. This Lenten series begins on Wednesday, March 12 (7-8:30 pm) for in-person or Zoom sessions.
