Twice a year, parishioners volunteer a Saturday, form a work party, and help a local homeowner in need. Rebuilding Together, a nonprofit organization, finds low-income homeowners who wish to age in place but need repairs to make their homes safe, warm, and functional. These homeowners are typically single moms, veterans, disabled, or elderly folks who desperately need help. One of these homeowners is matched up with the NE Seattle Catholic Community, and a work party of 20-25 volunteers is assembled. Within an 8-hour day, magic happens! With an enthusiastic crew with various talents, it’s amazing what can take place in the course of a day!
Be a part of this success! The next project is Saturday, April 25. Join the team and make a homeowner’s house a home once again. Sign up here: https://bit.ly/4s4wJ7t
